Volunteering

The success of the Cub Scout organization lies squarely on the shoulders of the parents of the Cub Scouts.  That's because the Cub Scouts are truly a parent-run organization that has the backing of the Boy Scouts as our sponsor organization. They provide the program, but it's up to the parents to execute it.

We need many volunteers to make the Pack successful.  Please consider one of these roles:
  • PACK Leadership Role - These roles tend to require organization of the whole pack.  There is a nice mixture of roles that work more with the scouts as well as many roles that are more details and organization related
  • DEN Leadership Roles - These roles work at a smaller level with just the scouts of the same age/grade as your son.
  • SINGLE Event Roles - These roles tend to be more admin and organizational. They are also shorter in duration and focus on a day/weekend or month long activity

We have assembled the attached booklet that describes all of the roles we need to make the pack successful.  Whatever your set of skills or comfort level, we can find a way for you to help.
  • There is NO previous experience needed for any of these positions--what we need most is someone who is willing to contribute and help better the Pack.
  • Please email or talk to the Committee Chair or Cubmaster about where help is needed if you're able to help.

Here are the current volunteers that have signed up:
